Appliance Salesperson

The Appliance Salesperson is responsible for delivering outstanding customer service and driving sales of household appliances within the Ace Hardware environment. This role involves engaging with customers to understand their needs, offering product knowledge, and guiding them to the best solutions available in-store or through special orders. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, knowledgeable about appliances, and excels at building customer relationships to generate repeat business.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Greet customers and assess their appliance needs with a friendly, professional demeanor
  • Provide in-depth product knowledge and comparisons for washers, dryers, refrigerators, ranges, dishwashers, and other major appliances
  • Guide customers through purchase options, financing (if applicable), and delivery/installation processes
  • Maintain a clean and organized appliance showroom area
  • Ensure accurate pricing and promotional signage
  • Assist in merchandising, stocking, and rotating appliance inventory
  • Follow up with customers on orders, deliveries, and satisfaction
  • Stay up to date on current trends, new product features, and competitor offerings
  • Achieve individual and department sales goals
  • Collaborate with other departments and team members to ensure excellent customer service
  • Handle returns and resolve customer issues professionally and efficiently
  • Follows all department policies and procedures
