Job description

Non-Invasive Cardiologist opening in Wisconsin
  • Located in ***Appleton, WI*** - approximately 30 minutes from Green Bay; 1 hr 45 min from Milwaukee
  • Full-time, permanent position with a leading cardiovascular care team
  • Outpatient and inpatient general cardiology (non-invasive)
  • Imaging services include:
* Stress testing (Nuclear/Echo)
* Echocardiography
* Vascular ultrasound
* Cardiac CT and MRI (MRI available summer 2023)
* Holter/Event monitoring, EKGs, TEEs
  • Clinic-based imaging; hub-and-spoke model with outreach
  • Epic EMR system

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Base Salary:
* 2+ years experience: $620,000
* 2 years experience: $558,417
  • RVU Thresholds:
* 2+ years: 9,250 RVUs
* 2 years: 8,331 RVUs
  • RVU rate: $67.03
  • Sign-on Bonus: $100,000 (5-year amortization)
  • Value-Based Incentives:
* Up to $20,460 during sign-on amortization
* Up to $40,460 after amortization completes
  • PTO: 35 days/year (includes holidays, personal time, CME)
  • CME: $4,500/year (prorated for first year)
  • Comprehensive health, dental, vision, and two retirement savings plans

Schedule:
  • 5-day work week, 36 patient contact hours
  • Clinic 3 days/week (20 min repeat, 40 min new patients)
  • 1-2 days/week reading studies
  • Outreach clinic 2 - 3 times per pay period (up to 1-hour drive, typically 2 sites)
  • Weekend call: 1:3 rotation for inpatient rounding at two hospitals
  • Weeknight call: 1 night/week
  • Average volumes:
* TCA inpatient: 15 patients
* TCN inpatient: 4 patients
* Echo: ~50/day (group total)
* Nuclear: ~10/day

  • 2 Interventional Cardiologists
  • 2 Cardiothoracic Surgeons
  • 1 Electrophysiologist
  • 8 NP/PAs
  • Dedicated clinic RNs, MAs, and schedulers
  • Cath Lab Facilities:
* TCA: 4 Philips labs (ACC accredited)
* TCN: 2 cath labs
