Job description

The Applebee's server will Delight our Guests by Exceeding Expectation by serving food and beverages to guests while accommodating the guests' needs in a courteous and timely manner following Applebee's Basic Service Steps and the Service Promise. The Server fosters a culture aligned with the TSFR Roadmap, including Our Core Purpose, Vision, Mission and Core Values.
Essential Job Functions
Primary Duties:
โ€ข Greets guests and interacts with every guest to create a friendly upbeat work environment
โ€ข Familiarize guests with the menu and make appropriate suggestions when requested
โ€ข Take guests orders and input them correctly in the POS using the write, repeat and review rule
โ€ข Serve food and beverages using the Applebee's TEAM delivery system
โ€ข Pre bus table and sweep the surrounding area to keep it clean and comfortable
โ€ข Collect payment from customers in a timely manner using the QR code or POS
โ€ข Completes daily cleaning work tasks and maintains a clean and safe working environment
โ€ข Anticipate guests' needs in order to facilitate an enjoyable dining experience
Educational / Experience
โ€ข Excellent customer service skills and the ability to exceed guests' expectations
โ€ข Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
โ€ข Good attitude toward teamwork
โ€ข Strong work ethic, with a willingness to take initiative
โ€ข Confident, outgoing demeanor
โ€ข Flexibility to work a variable schedule, including evenings and weekends
โ€ข Ability to be mobile for a minimum of 4 hours, bend, stoop and lift up to 20 pounds
