Apple's growing wireless silicon development team is seeking an exceptional candidate for its modeling and verification team. In this role, you will be modeling & verifying Analog/RF/Mixed-Signal blocks and SOCs using SystemVerilog to create behavioral models, testbenches, checkers and tests. You will build and execute test plans to meet project schedules and quality requirements.
You will become part of a hands-on development team that fosters engineering excellence, creativity and innovation. Collaboration across teams is a key component of success at Apple. Description
As a member of the digital mixed-signal modeling team, you'll play a crucial role in developing behavioral models to verify wireless SoCs. Additionally, you'll be involved in cutting-edge technology for integrating mixed-signal models onto emulation platforms. Your support will be essential for multiple pre-silicon validation teams to ensure a fully functional first silicon.
Minimum Qualifications
BS and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience
Self-motivated individual contributor with a strong passion for the team's success.
Hands-on experience in Mixed-Signal Verification and Real Numbered Modeling of Mixed-Signal Systems.
Knowledge of any of the ubiquitous wireless technologies: WiFi, BT, UWB or radio systems in general.
Knowledge of basic analog circuits: PLLs, LDOs, Bandgap, ADC/DAC, etc.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Ph.D. or Master's with 5+ years of experience in modeling of analog/RF circuits.
Good understanding of emulation technologies and mixed-signal modeling requirements for synthesis-ready models.
Experience in modeling with SystemC and/or C/C++.
Experience in writing scripts in languages such as Perl or Python.
Knowledge of signal processing using Python or Matlab.
Good understanding of AMS and wireless circuits/systems.
Experience with SystemC modeling and high-level synthesis.
