Come Make Caramel Apples With Us!

The Caramel Tree is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Caramel Apple Artist to join our production team in Rigby.

You’ll help dip, drizzle, decorate, and package our gourmet caramel apples and other handcrafted caramel and chocolate confections. No professional candy-making experience is required. We’ll teach you our process. What matters most is that you’re reliable, willing to learn, comfortable working with your hands, and able to keep up with a focused production team.

About The Caramel Tree

The Caramel Tree has been creating handcrafted caramel confections since 2008. We operate a retail store, sell through several online channels, and serve wholesale customers across the country.

As we continue growing across multiple brands and sales channels, we’re building a strong production team that takes pride in making beautiful, consistent products.

Why You’ll Love Working Here
  • A fun, low-drama work environment: Work hard, enjoy the people around you, and leave feeling accomplished.
  • Part-time hours: A great fit if you want steady work without committing your entire week.
  • Work-life balance: We understand that life happens. We make candy—and while we take our work seriously, we also want our team members to enjoy their lives.
  • A hands-on, creative job: Spend your day making products that look great and make people happy.
  • A great team: We value reliability, teamwork, efficiency, and a positive attitude.

What You’ll Do
  • Dip, drizzle, decorate, and finish gourmet caramel apples.
  • Help produce other caramel and chocolate confections for The Caramel Tree and our partner brands.
  • Create attractive, consistent products while working at an efficient pace.
  • Package finished products accurately for retail, online, and wholesale orders.
  • Maintain a clean and organized production space.
  • Follow food-safety, sanitation, and quality-control procedures.
  • Work with the team to complete each day’s production goals.
  • Help with additional shifts or extended hours during holidays and other busy seasons.

What You’ll Bring
  • Reliability: We need team members we can count on to arrive on time and ready to work.
  • Attention to detail: Every apple should look like it belongs in the box.
  • Efficiency: The faster and more focused the team works, the sooner the production day ends.
  • A team-first attitude: You communicate well, help where needed, and contribute to a positive workplace.
  • Comfort working with your hands: This is an active, repetitive, hands-on position.
  • Physical stamina: You must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds, with reasonable accommodations when applicable.
  • Flexibility: Additional availability are needed during Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, and other peak seasons.
  • Initiative: You notice problems, ask questions, and help keep production moving.

Important Details

Most production days run from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, but we finish when the day’s production is complete. With a focused and efficient team, wrapping up around 1:30–2:30 PM is very common.

This position requires regular standing, lifting, reaching, gripping, dipping, decorating, and other repetitive hand and arm movements.

Join the Sweetest Team in Town
