Location: Downtown Miami, FL (Remote Available)

Duration: 6 month contract to hire

Job Description:

The Mulesoft Architect will perform design work for large andcomplex software and the interfaces between them. Position will drive adherenceto standards, processes and policies and create architecture documentation.Play a leadership role in setting the architecture of bank-developedapplications. This includes working effectively across technical domains, withEnterprise Architects, Information Architects, Application Architects and othertechnical resources. This covers front-end web applications and back-endsystems, messaging, and database systems, as well as interaction betweenenterprise level common components. Technology includes Appian, our BusinessProcess Management (BPM) solution for business workflows, messaging, anddatabase systems, as well as interaction between enterprise level commoncomponents. The technical skills will focus on a variety of technologies,including, but not limited to: relational databases, web services (SOAP, REST,WSDL, XML, and other API standards), Object Oriented Design and programming inJ2EE, Design Patterns, Web development (HTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript). Thecandidate should be well versed in API-driven design, messaging patterns, andapplication development best practices. The candidate should understandMulesoft deployment and operations strategies for both Cloudhub and on-premisessolutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop highlevel and detailed designs for assigned development initiatives and conductDesign Reviews with management and development teams.

• Conduct codereviews and mentor/direct developers as required

• Providetraining for application development and support teams on newly implementedcoding techniques, reporting frameworks and other application frameworksincluding promoting code reuse.

Makerecommendations about platform and technology adoption, including databaseservers, application servers, libraries, and frameworks.

• Performtechnical due diligence on third-party products prior to integration.

• Advise seniormanagement on how products and processes could be improved.

• Maintain a listof standards and tools to be utilized by application development and supportteams.

Basic Qualifications

• *Bachelor'sDegree in Computer Science required

• *Minimum 12years of experience in Software Development.

• *Minimum 5years of experience with transactional Internet solutions.

• *Minimum 2years of experience with Mulesoft products including Anypoint Studio, AnypointAPI Manager, Anypoint Runtime Manager and Anypoint Exchange

Skills And Knowledge

• Excellentverbal and written communication skills required

• Understandingof key industry standards such as J2EE, WebLogic, JMS, SOAP, REST, JSON, andMVC.

• Familiaritywith relational databases and data structure design concepts.

• Workingknowledge of web application concepts (HTML, DHTML, CSS, and JavaScript).

• Experience inObject-oriented analysis and design (OOAD), Design Patterns, and DistributedArchitectures.

• Must have skillin software tools such as formulas & data manipulation in Microsoft Excel(or equivalent), creating cohesive and comprehensive workflow diagrams in Visio(or equivalent), XMLSpy, and SOAP UI.

• Able to Createdesign overviews for systems, educate others on design of solution andstandards, review code and provide constructive feedback on improvement,research and recommend changes in software development standards and processes.

Demonstrableanalytical and problem solving skills.

• Ability tocontribute to multiple project/demands simultaneously.

• Financialindustry experience a plus.

• Well versed inMulesoft product architecture and implementation solutions.
