Job description

Astor & Sanders Corporation (Astor) is an award-winning IT solutions provider headquartered in McLean, VA and is seeking an Appian Developer.This is a full-time remote position.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Work with key Federal and Commercial client stakeholders to re-engineer business processes and translating those requirements to BPM code.
  • Works closely with Agency Business Owner, Product Owner, IT Federal Project Manager (FPM), and Federal Technical and other stakeholders to fully understand the functional and technical requirements in case management.
  • Actively participates and provides inputs in major design decisions. 
  • Design and develop Appian applications and provide customer demos
  • Incorporate the functional requirements into the Appian business flows using Process Models, Rules, CDTs, and Web Service Integration
  • Design and implement complex enterprise integrations with industry standard technologies
  • Contribute to the BPM and Case Management practice at A&S by sharing best practices.
  • Support user testing business transition activities.
  • Information and follow Federal standards for Digital Services and US Web Design Standards
  • Complete additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must have bachelor's degree with five (5) plus years (with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Appian) of hands-on full stack experience developing solutions using agile/SAFe methodologies preferably in federal space
  • Must have Senior Appian Developer (L2) Certification
  • Must have a combination of Appian Developer, Appian Administrator and or demonstrate equivalent experience. 
  • Must have Agile/SAFe, and other related developer certifications and or demonstrate equivalent experience.
  • AWS experience

The anticipated salary range for this position is $130,000 - 150,000 annually. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, candidate skills and education, geographical location, certifications, and business needs, as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position and could fall outside of this range. This salary range represents Astor's good-faith estimate of compensation for the position at the time of posting.
