Job description

Join a Team That Builds Product That Moves

At Reflex, product is at the center of everything we do. We are looking for an Activewear Apparel Product Developer who is passionate about building high-quality, performance-driven apparel and excited to take ownership of product from concept through production.

This role is ideal for someone who understands the pace of apparel development, knows how to manage details across multiple styles and timelines, and enjoys partnering with design, merchandising, technical design, sourcing, and vendors to bring product to life. You will help shape product outcomes, influence decisions, solve problems, and contribute to a team that values speed, quality, collaboration, and innovation.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the development of private label activewear and apparel styles from concept through production, ensuring each product meets design, cost, quality, fit, and construction expectations.
  • Evaluate prototypes, development samples, fit samples, and production-ready samples with a critical eye for fit, construction, fabric, trims, function, and overall brand alignment.
  • Drive the development calendar forward by tracking key milestones, including prototypes, lab dips, sample yardage, fabric and trim approvals, testing, and production handoff.
  • Build, update, and manage accurate tech packs, ensuring vendors and factory partners have clear, complete, and timely information at every stage of development.
  • Partner closely with Design, Merchandising, Technical Design, Production, Sourcing, and global vendors to keep product development moving efficiently.
  • Communicate directly with domestic and overseas factories to resolve questions, maintain timelines, and support successful execution.
  • Support sourcing decisions and contribute ideas that improve product quality, cost efficiency, speed, and overall execution.
  • Review fabrics, trims, construction details, costing, and sample feedback to help ensure products meet performance, aesthetic, and business goals.
  • Proactively identify and solve issues related to timing, cost, materials, fit, quality, and product refinement.
  • Maintain organization across multiple styles, seasons, vendors, deadlines, and cross-functional priorities.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in apparel product development, production, technical design, or a closely related role.
  • Experience working with activewear, athleisure, performance apparel, or similar apparel categories strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of fabrics, trims, garment construction, fit, and sample development.
  • Experience building, reviewing, or managing tech packs and product development details.
  • Experience working with both domestic and overseas factories.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Clear, confident communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and vendor partners.
  • Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with private label apparel development.
  • Experience with performance fabrics, stretch fabrics, activewear construction, or technical apparel details.
  • Adobe Illustrator experience.
  • PLM experience.
  • Experience supporting costing, sourcing, lab dips, fabric testing, and development calendar management.

Why This Role Stands Out

Real ownership: You will have a direct impact on product development, not just support one small piece of the process.

End-to-end exposure: You will be involved from concept through production, including samples, tech packs, vendors, materials, approvals, costing, and execution.

Activewear focus: You will work on apparel designed for movement, performance, comfort, and everyday wear.

Fast-paced growth: This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants to accelerate their career in apparel product development.

Collaborative culture: You will work closely with cross-functional teams and experienced leaders who value communication, accountability, and product excellence.

Product-driven environment: Your ideas, attention to detail, and ability to solve problems will matter.

Who You Are

You are detail-oriented, organized, and product-focused. You understand that great apparel depends on both creativity and execution. You care about fit, fabric, construction, cost, quality, and timing, and you know how to keep development moving without losing sight of the details.

You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, communicating with internal teams and external vendors, and managing multiple priorities at once. You take ownership of your work, ask the right questions, and enjoy collaborating with others to bring product ideas to life.

If you are ready to step into a role where you can own your work, grow quickly, and make an impact on activewear and apparel product development, we would love to hear from you.
