Job description

Apparel Processing Outfitter

The Apparel Processing Outfitter is responsible for the overall processing of all apparel merchandise shipments from receipt of goods to stocking on Sales Floor & Receiving.

Essential Functions
  • Effectively processes all apparel merchandise at time of receipt, adhering to all Visual Merchandising & MPS Standards, and utilizing the inventory management system.
  • Systematically replenishes merchandise to the sales floor as required per the Visual Merchandising Standards utilizing the inventory management system.
  • Remains knowledgeable of advertised sales to promote effective backroom organization and replenishment.
  • Unloads trucks as needed.
  • Assists with pricing maintenance and signage of merchandise.
  • Keeps work area clean, neat, organized and well stocked with supplies.
  • Ensure backstock merchandise remains organized and accessible.
  • Demonstrates exceptional customer service and ensures a pleasant shopping experience for all guests.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Experience/Qualifications
  • Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Preferred Degree: High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Certificate(s) or License(s): N/A

Knowledge, Skills, and Ability
  • Ability to use company computer systems and devices such as System Two, RF/Gizmo devices & Point of Sale register system.
  • Ability to process and organize information to include plan-o-grams, visual guides & merchandising standards.
  • Ability to review replenishment reporting to organize merchandise to fill the sales floor.
  • Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other outfitters.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, co-workers and customers.
