Job description

Apparel Processing Outfitter

The Apparel Processing Outfitter is responsible for the overall processing of all apparel merchandise shipments from receipt of goods to stocking on Sales Floor & Receiving.

Essential Functions:
  • Effectively processes all apparel merchandise at time of receipt, adhering to all Visual Merchandising & MPS Standards, and utilizing the inventory management system. 50%
  • Systematically replenishes merchandise to the sales floor as required per the Visual Merchandising Standards utilizing the inventory management system. 10%
  • Remains knowledgeable of advertised sales to promote effective backroom organization and replenishment. 10%
  • Unloads trucks as needed. 10%
  • Assists with pricing maintenance and signage of merchandise. 5%
  • Keeps work area clean, neat, organized and well stocked with supplies. 5%
  • Ensure backstock merchandise remains organized and accessible. 5%
  • Demonstrates exceptional customer service and ensures a pleasant shopping experience for all guests. 5%
  • All other duties as assigned
Experience/Qualifications:
  • Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Preferred Degree: High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Certificate(s) or License(s): N/A
  • Years of experience: 0
Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:
  • Ability to use company computer systems and devices such as System Two, RF/Gizmo devices & Point of Sale register system.
  • Ability to process and organize information to include plan-o-grams, visual guides & merchandising standards.
  • Ability to review replenishment reporting to organize merchandise to fill the sales floor.
  • Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other outfitters.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, co-workers and customers.

Regularly walks, stands, and does computer work.

Occasionally lifts up to 50 lbs.

  • Ability to use ladders and/or lifts as needed.
Independent Judgement:

Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments. Often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.

Starting Pay Rate: $16.00 - $18.75
