How You'll Make an Impact

The Lift Truck Driver is responsible for locating and moving inventory throughout the facility to ensure the timely processing of customer orders.

This role typical reports into the Operations Supervisor and is based in our Stockbridge Distribution Center.

  • Lock Inventory to Lost and communicates with the Inventory Department.

  • Responsible for observing housekeeping, safety and C-TPAT compliance in assigned area of responsibility; Stay within compliance of the company policies regarding safety.

  • Work with Wave Planning, Inventory Control, and Training to ensure the adherence of area processes.

  • Perform other tasks as assigned, including pulling during low volume periods.

  • Support the Coordinator/Supervisor in all duties as assigned including all operational areas of the Distribution Center

Must have:

  • You will operate an order picker or reach truck for most of your shift, so you must be able to pass the lift driver and safety certification.

  • Basic knowledge of WMOS, including scanner tasks and functions.

  • Team player willing to perform various job duties to support the department and the facility objectives and key performance indicators.

  • Ability to lift to 50 pounds repetitively, scan with RF equipment, bend, twist, and be on your feet for shifts up to 12 hours long.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with others (Supervisors, Managers, and peers).

  • Flexibility to work overtime and comply with blackout periods (no vacation or personal time allowed) during peak periods.

Preferred Skills:

  • Efficiently handle tasks to include material handling and stock movement.

  • 1-2 years’ experience operating equipment in an automated, fast-paced distribution environment preferred
