Job description

We are seeking an Electrophysiology Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to support a growing EP program across multiple office locations. This is a newly created position driven by practice growth and increased EP patient demand. The APP will work closely with electrophysiologists managing outpatient follow-ups, device patients, post-ablation care, remote monitoring, and loop implant procedures. While the ideal candidate will have 3 years of cardiology/electrophysiology APP experience, we are open to candidates with 1 year of APP experience and strong prior EP exposure.
 

Responsibilities
  • Provide outpatient Electrophysiology care across designated office locations
  • Manage post-AFib ablation follow-up clinic and AFib risk reduction clinic
  • Perform wound checks and post-device implant evaluations
  • Review, interpret, and manage device remotes and MCOT daily reads
  • Assist with loop implant procedures in the office setting
  • Monitor EMR desktops and coordinate patient follow-up
  • Evaluate approximately 12-16 patients per day with 30-45 minute appointment slots
  • Collaborate closely with EP physicians regarding clinically significant findings
  • Participate in hospital follow-up visits and EP-related patient management
  • Maintain accurate documentation and coordinate patient care activities
  • Note: 90-120 days onboarding to get hospital privileges and on insurances. Will be required to do a 1-day orientation at a designated office and rotate and train with other EP APPs for the first 3-4 months.
Requirements
  • NP or PA license eligible in Pennsylvania
  • Electrophysiology or Cardiology APP experience required
  • Targeting 3 years of APP experience; open to strong candidates with 1 year and relevant EP background
  • Experience with cardiac devices, remote monitoring, arrhythmia management, or EP workflows strongly preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and EMR skills
  • Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced cardiology practice
