What You'll Do as an Electronic Systems Technician
Your day-to-day work will be diverse, hands-on, and technically engaging. You'll collaborate with experienced project managers to install and service advanced commercial electronic systems from the ground up - following plans, blueprints, and industry codes.
Typical tasks include:
  • Installing, wiring, and programming access control panels, card readers, and locks
  • Installing, wiring, and programming video cameras and recording devices
  • Installing and terminating low voltage and fiber optic cabling
  • Servicing and troubleshooting low voltage systems
  • Providing Systems Training to customers
  • Tracking assets, materials, and work notes via mobile app
