Job description

With 93 years of experience, Harkins Theatres is looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist responsible for optimizing paid advertising campaigns across Google and other paid media platforms, and utilizing the CMS to maintain and optimize the Harkins website/app. The Specialist also owns the GA4 reporting and Google Tag Manager strategy.

What You Will Be Doing:
• Develops and optimizes campaigns across Google Ads and other paid media platforms, including budgeting, targeting, and reporting.
• Monitors daily spend, adjusts bidding strategies, and manages budgets for paid ads.
• Designs web/app pages and guest journeys to increase ticket sales, guest engagement, and brand awareness.
• Analyzes user behavior and marketing performance to inform strategic decisions as well as provide actionable insights to improve user engagement and increase conversions.
• Identifies areas of opportunity in website/app user journeys, flagging any shifts in behavior or technical problems.
• Works in concert with IT for GA4 and Google Tag Manager in providing reporting and recommendations to leadership to optimize web, app and ad performance.
• Owns SEO strategy by identifying technical, on-page and content optimization opportunities to improve organic visibility, search rankings and discoverability.
• Works cross-departmentally to intake company initiatives, programs, and support with a calculated digital promotional package.
• Collaborates with the IT team on new development projects and upcoming platform improvements.
• Regular attendance and physical presence at the work site.
What We Are Looking For:
• Bachelor's degree in related field and 2+years experience in digital marketing.
• Google Ads certification and GA4 experience required.
• Strong project management and analytical skills.
• Displays a solid understanding of digital marketing and how to integrate emerging technologies into overall company marketing strategy.
• Analytical skills, a creative mindset and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with marketing and IT teams.
• Able to multi-task and navigate aggressive deadlines.
• Organized with a strong attention to detail and ability to exercise judgment and discretion in maintaining and communicating confidential and sensitive information.
• Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and internet research. Google Analytics experience is a must.
• Experience in SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media a plus.
• Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills.
• Able to work independently and/or with a team.
