Job description

Certified Pharmacy Technician – Compounding Pharmacy

Location: Gulf Breeze, FL

Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience and certifications

Certification Required

Applicants must be registered as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Florida.

Active PTCB or ExCPT certification is strongly preferred.

Sterile compounding certification is preferred but not required. Training and support are available for qualified candidates seeking additional certifications.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to support traditional pharmacy operations while assisting with sterile and non-sterile compounding services.

Responsibilities

  • Enter prescription orders accurately and efficiently
  • Prepare medications and healthcare products for patients
  • Communicate with providers regarding prescription care
  • Assist with sterile and non-sterile compounding activities
  • Maintain compliance with USP standards and pharmacy regulations
  • Monitor medication inventory, storage, and supply levels
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and patient support

Qualifications

  • Registered Pharmacy Technician in the State of Florida required
  • Previous Pharmacy Technician experience preferred
  • Compounding experience preferred but not required
  • Sterile compounding certification preferred
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Team-oriented mindset
  • Willingness to obtain additional certifications and training
