Job Summary:
NLB Services is a company seeking an IT Software Engineer 2. The role involves developing API proxies and requires hands-on experience with various API tools and security standards.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Experience writing API proxies on platforms such as Apigee Edge, AWS API Gateway or Azure API Gateway or similar.
• Hands on experience with API tools such as Swagger Editor & Postman, and linting tools like Spectral.
• Knowledge of security standards such as OAuth 2.0 and TLS.
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and within time constraints.
• Passion for technology and an eagerness to contribute to a team-oriented environment.
• Must be reliable and proactive able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• No tardiness
Preferred:
• Familiarity working in a Scrum environment
• Must demonstrate solid knowledge of computer science fundamentals like data structures and algorithms
• Hands on experience with metrics and visualization tools like Kibana, Grafana, or equivalent
