Core Responsibilities

  • Data Quality Frameworks: Design and implement frameworks aligned to Lakehouse (bronze/silver/gold).
  • Validation & Rules: Define and enforce rules for completeness, accuracy, consistency, timeliness, validity.
  • Pipeline Integration: Embed quality checks in Databricks (Spark/Delta Lake) workflows.
  • Monitoring & Observability: Build dashboards, alerts, anomaly detection, RCA for issues.
  • Governance & Compliance: Align with Collibra, metadata, lineage, auditability, SOX/GLBA standards.
  • Automation & DevOps: CI/CD for rules, automated testing frameworks, reusable libraries.
  • Collaboration & Leadership: Mentor teams, embed quality-by-design, act as SME.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years in Data Engineering / Data Quality roles
  • Hands-on Databricks, Spark (PySpark), Delta Lake
  • Proven data quality frameworks implementation
  • Advanced SQL, profiling, validation
  • Large-scale datasets in AWS/Azure
  • Integration of quality into ETL/ELT pipelines
  • Strong grasp of data governance & lifecycle

Preferred Qualifications

  • Financial services / regulated environment experience
