Mitigating risk for security line of business. This is an Apigee team that is migrating to a new technology – API Connect. We are an infrastructure team that is very crucial to the bank. INITIATIVES/PROJECTS: Big initiative moving from Apigee to API Connect INDUSTRY BACKGROUND: Open to all, banking/finance background a plus ROLE/RESPONSIBILITIES: • Leads in the development of the most complex new and emerging technologies and selects appropriate platforms, integrates and configure solutions. • Leverages technical knowledge and industry experience to design, build and maintain technology solutions. • JD Skills: o Strong problem solving skills o Basic understanding of LDAP, AD, PING, SysLog, Jenkins, XML Spy, SOAPUI. o Ability to manage their own project tasks o Highly Self-Driven and Self-Motivated o Demonstrated ability to multi-task work assignments, on two or more projects o Builds integration solutions in accordance with strategies, and standards. o Resolves defects and facilitate troubleshooting of integration issues. o Advises ways to expand usage of IS standard tools on projects and other initiatives. o Drafts and updates policies and best practices. o Perform continuous improvement of efficiency, productivity, and usage. o Implement methods to capture system SLA, logs and data quality metrics • Provides a systematic analysis on the most complex client requirements within the traceability framework and resolves any functional problems encountered. • Oversees the quality of complex project deliverables while ensuring that they are in compliance with relevant standards and processes. • The Technology Engineer should possess technical hands-on expertise with Apigee and API Connect Administration Including: o Experience managing all components related to Apigee Edge such as Management/UI Servers, Message Processor/Router nodes, Cassanda/Zookeeper rings & Postgres analytic databases. o Apigee Edge software updates and fresh install o DevPortal, CI/CD, o API Connect Analytics, Management, DevPortal, CI/CD, BitBucket, Jenkins, Ansible --------------- MUST HAVE SKILLS: • DataPower Gateway • IBM API Connect: Analytics, Management, DevPortal • Apigee Edge (administration, infra & upgrades) • DevOps & CI/CD Toolchain (BitBucket, Jenkins, Ansible) • Cassandra, Zookeeper, Postgres databases --------------- SOFT SKILLS: • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills. • Proven ability to learn and rapidly adapt to new challenges. • Good interaction with developers, managers, and team members to coordinate job tasks • Strong commitment to work.
