Position Summary

Apex Skin is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Dermatologist to join its growing team in Canton, Ohio - home of the Pro Football Hall of Fame! Apex Dermatologists will be responsible for the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of conditions affecting the skin, hair, and nails. This position practices in a collaborative, team-based environment alongside physicians and advanced practice providers to deliver high-quality, evidence-based patient care.

Job Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of dermatologic conditions
  • Perform medical and surgical dermatology procedures within scope of practice
  • Develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff to ensure continuity of care
  • Provide patient education regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and preventive care
  • Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as organizational policies and procedures
  • Participate in quality improvement and clinical initiatives, as applicable
Job Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution
  • Completion of an accredited dermatology residency program
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Dermatology
  • Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or ability to obtain prior to start)
  • Strong clinical and procedural dermatology experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment
