You will be the Manufacturing Engineer Sr for the Machining Operations Center (MOC). Our team is responsible for producing ultraprecision machined components that enable infrared and electrooptical targeting systems for critical defense platforms.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Engineer Sr you will be responsible for delivering highquality precision parts while supporting continuous improvement across the Orlando site.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Industrial, Quality Engineers and production stakeholders to define machining solutions.
- Develop, refine, and maintain CAM programs and machining strategies for CNC mills, lathes and other precision equipment.
- Create and update detailed work instructions, fixtures and tooling drawings that drive consistent shopfloor execution.
- Provide onsite support to resolve technical and manufacturing issues and lead rootcause investigations for nonconformances.
- Monitor and report on quality, schedule and cost performance of assigned projects, driving corrective actions as needed.
