AP & Treasury Manager

Position Overview

A growing multi-entity organization is seeking an AP & Treasury Manager to oversee Accounts Payable, cash management, banking, and related accounting operations across approximately 15 entities.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced AP or accounting professional who has also been involved in treasury functions, including cash management, banking, wires/ACH, cash forecasting, and payment operations. The role reports to the Controller and supervises a small Accounts Payable team.

The Ideal Candidate

  • 4+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, treasury, or accounting operations
  • Strong AP experience with exposure to cash management and treasury functions
  • Experience managing payments, ACH, wires, banking portals, and cash activity
  • Experience overseeing high-volume or multi-entity AP processes
  • Exposure to cash flow forecasting, liquidity, intercompany transfers, or debt administration
  • Strong understanding of reconciliations and general accounting processes
  • Experience supervising or mentoring AP/accounting staff
  • Strong Excel skills; ERP experience required, Sage preferred

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee Accounts Payable operations and supervise the AP team
  • Manage daily cash balances and banking activity across multiple entities
  • Oversee ACH, wires, electronic payments, and payment approvals
  • Coordinate intercompany cash transfers
  • Monitor cash needs and assist with cash flow forecasting
  • Maintain banking portals, Positive Pay, user access, and payment controls
  • Manage corporate credit cards and support loan/debt administration
  • Review reconciliations and ensure accurate recording of cash and payment activity
  • Support month-end close and broader accounting processes
  • Prepare AP, cash, and treasury reporting for management
  • Support audits and strengthen financial controls and processes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
  • 4+ years of AP, treasury, cash management, or general accounting experience
  • Candidates coming from an AP/accounting background with meaningful treasury exposure are strongly encouraged to apply
  • Strong Excel and ERP skills
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and leadership skills
