Job description

Laborer - Tok, Alaska

AP&T is seeking a motivated and dependable laborer to join our team in Tok, Alaska. This is a full-time position that will provide a variety of support to the line crew, plant crew and truck shop crew.

As a laborer, this position will assist with a variety of hands-on tasks including:

  • Brush cutting and weed trimming
  • Oil changes and basic mechanical maintenance
  • Supporting power plant operations
  • Heavy equipment operation 
  • Other duties as assigned by the property manager.

This is a manual labor role that requires strong work ethic and a willingness to take on diverse tasks

Schedule:
  • 7:00A.M. to 4:00P.M., Monday through Friday
  • Occasional over time may be required
Candidate Qualifications Required:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Valid driver's license and ability to be insured by AP&T
  • 1 year mechanical or electrical experience preferred
  • Ability to lift 70 pounds
  • Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug test. May be subject to random drug testing at any time
  • Basic computer skills

The pay for this position is $28.00 per hour.
