Job description

Position: Accounts Payable Manager Consultant (6–8 month contract)

Location: Charlotte, NC – Hybrid (3 days in office: Tuesday–Thursday)

Compensation: $45 - $49 / Hour

Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Lead an 8-person global AP team (3 in North Carolina, 5 in India) overseeing U.S. accounts payable operations.

Manage AP automation implementation (Medius) and support the Microsoft D365 ERP migration with a planned go-live in October 2026.

Oversee full-cycle AP processes, including invoice processing, payment runs (ACH/checks), vendor maintenance, and general ledger accuracy.

Partner with procurement, treasury, and accounting teams to resolve issues, improve processes, and ensure strong financial controls.

Assess department workload, recommend process improvements, and help onboard a permanent AP Manager when hired.

Ideal candidate has 5+ years of AP leadership experience, a strong accounting background, and experience leading ERP or AP automation implementations.

Looking for a proactive leader with excellent communication, problem-solving, organizational, and team management skills.
