OverviewJST is seeking a Network and Computer Systems Administrator to support the AOC Weapons System Tier 1 support to the AFSOC/Unit Operations Centers and provide Tier 1 support for all systems and forward Tier 2 and Tier 3 support issues to the appropriate organization.This is a full-time position on-site in Hurlburt Field, FL. Network and Computer Systems Administrator Responsibilities Support the AOC Weapons System Tier 1 support to the AFSOC/Unit Operations CentersProvide Tier 1 support for all systems and forward Tier 2 and Tier 3 support issues to the appropriate organizationProvide solutions to complex problems on the integration of various technologiesAssigns personnel to various projects, directs their activities, and evaluates their workEnsures long-term requirements of systems operations and administration are included in the overall information systems planning of the organizationProvide database, server, network, mobile device, radio, and client administration, operations, maintenance, engineering support, client support, network monitoring, software configurations, servers, switches, routers, firewalls and perform daily systems monitoring, patch/software management, as well as tech refreshes and upgradesSupport the application of systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users, to determine hardware, software or system functional specificationsSupport the design, development, documentation, analysis, creation, testing or modification of computer systems based on and related to user or system design specificationsResponsible for resolving IT hardware and software infrastructure issues using systems analysis techniques and procedures to ensure appropriate functionsEnsure AFSOC's Patriot Excalibur (PEX) instances are operational and patched for both hardware and softwareProvide reach-back support from Hurlburt Field, FL for forces at other in-garrison and deployed sites across the world including the operations and maintenance of OL services in support of AFSOF units at sites without dedicated supportSupport the 24 hours a day 7 days a week operation of the Mission Systems Support Center (MSSC) and its associated hotlineLog, track, and coordinate issues raised by AFSOF personnel and units, ensuring issues are resolved in a timely fashion. via phone, remote computer access, and on-site if applicableDefine and mature operations and maintenance processes for systems Develop and follow documented incident response measures Maintain hardware and network infrastructure for fielded systemsMonitor, diagnose, and resolve complex network, storage and computer system issues Collaborate with IT team to develop action plan for improved operations Install, configure, and maintain computer software integrityImplement operating system enhancements that will improve system reliability and performanceNetwork and Computer Systems Administrator QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Business, Information Technology OR 3 years of equivalent professional experience3+ years of experience in Information TechnologyMinimum of (1) one year experience as a Systems AdministratorCurrent DoD Active SECRET / Ability to receive a TS/SCI clearance Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)Experience with DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF)Experience with Windows platformIAT Level II certification; Experience with Windows (2012 and higher); Scripting; PowerShell (Windows); Bash (Linux); Active Directory; MDM preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsMust be able to sit and stand for long periods of timeMust be available for on-call support as neededDesired CertificationsAmazon Web Services Certs; AWS SysOps Administrator Associate; MDM Certs (one of any listed: Air Watch Enterprise Mobility Professional; Mobile Iron Administration Certification; IBM Certified Deployment Professional - MaaS360 On-Premise); Systems Admin IT Certification (MCSA or RHCSA)About Joint Strategic Technologies (JST) No objective is beyond reach!
