Summary of Position: Want to get exposed to everything that Ferris State has to offer? Career and Professional Success! You will get to help out at many events across campus, create advertisements, and other clerical duties.
Position Requirements:
- Compassion and interest in working with students, faculty, staff, and employers
- Some understanding of Ferris structures and resources
- Attention to detail
- Some technology proficiency with Microsoft products and Canva
- Must have a 2.5 GPA
- Must be able to pass a background check by the university
Essential Duties/Responsibilities: - Participate in regular staff meetings
- Assist professional staff with clerical tasks which may include: scheduling meetings, returning phone calls, answering emails, taking meeting minutes, purchasing items, and proofreading documents.
- Assist at events
- Create advertising posters
- Advertise CAPS events
- Provide feedback and suggestions for innovative changes
- Plan, implement, and evaluate programming - Including but not limited to room reservations, catering reservations, advertising, supply purchases, cash handling, event set-up, staffing events, and finding and leading volunteers.
- Other duties as assigned.
