Job Description

The risk management division of Shuster Advisory Group, LLC is seeking the right person to join our team as a Life Insurance and Annuity Case Manager. The candidate chosen for this position will be responsible for new business support and be part of the team servicing all aspects of the firmโ€™s life insurance, long-term care, disability, and annuity book of business. This is an administrative position and not a sales position. Vitally important is the ability to multiโ€‘task effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change.

Responsibilities
  • Marketplace Analysis
    1. Create and perform comparative analysis of insurance companies and their products.
    2. Create client presentations.
    3. Case design and implementation.
  • New Business
    1. Application processing: Prepare and review applications and illustrations for completeness, identifying and collecting outstanding requirements and managing the process through policy issue.
    2. Underwriting: Order/coordinate insurance exam, order medical records, and complete any required follow-ups with APS provider.
    3. Policy issue: Review policies for accuracy, invoice and collect initial premium and delivery requirements.
  • In-force Servicing
    1. Prepare in-force policy/plan reviews and analysis.
    2. Manage ongoing client servicing.
  • Administration
    1. Maintain correspondence, client files, and records according to companyโ€™s compliance guidelines.
Requirements / Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years working in the insurance/financial services industry.
  • Strong product knowledge of multiple life insurance carriers and products.
  • Excellent communication skills โ€“ written and verbal.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.
  • Prior knowledge of advanced estate and executive bonus concepts is a plus.
  • Life insurance license is a plus.
