Nature and Scope
This position reports to the Sr Manager, Internal Communications. The Internal Communications Multimedia Content Specialist will be responsible for supporting the internal communications team by translating complex business information into compelling, visually engaging multimedia content that informs, educates and empowers employees across the organization. The ideal candidate brings a blend of creative storytelling, visual design and multimedia production skills with the ability to turn ideas into impactful content across channels. While this role may write, this is not a copywriting role, instead offering a heavy emphasis on visual content creation such as photography, graphic design, and video content creation.
Requirements
1. A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Multimedia, Design, or a related field is preferred. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of four years of marketing design experience may be considered. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered. Familiarity with financial industry is preferred.
2. Strong knowledge of design principles, with the ability to apply them to create effective and impactful content across multiple channels. Experience in content creation, graphic design, internal communications, marketing or multimedia production is preferred.
3. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to maintain consistent messaging across various mediums.
4. Strong portfolio demonstrating graphic design, video, and/or multimedia content deliverables in a professional setting.
5. Competency with Microsoft Office products with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Copilot experience desired.
6. Proficiency in Canva, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, or Photoshop.
7. Experience with content management systems preferred.
8. Ability to adhere to defined brand guidelines and established internal style guides.
9. Ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a high-volume and everchanging environment, meeting deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail.
10. Ability to apply new design concepts and trends to maximize impact of content.
11. Bring creativity, fun and passion for internal communications content creation to the job everyday
12. Must develop a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures as they relate to this position. Must comply with all company policies and procedures and all job-related state and federal laws and regulations.
Principle Accountabilities
1. Conceptualize and produce visual internal communications content across digital and print mediums for a variety of topics, ensuring adherence to brand standards and design principles.
2. Identify interesting and compelling content opportunities that bring the Landmark culture, brand and strategy to life to inform and engage employees
3. Execute designs that align with Landmark Credit Union's brand guidelines, ensuring visual consistency across internal channels.
4. Transform complex topics, business updates, and strategic initiatives into clear, engaging, and visually appealing multimedia content in support of provided copy.
5. Design graphics, layouts, and branded visual assets for internal use.
6. Capture high-quality photos at internal events, meetings, and key moments; edit and enhance images for use across internal platforms.
7. Shoot and edit video content, including interviews, leadership messages, event recaps, and explainer videos.
8. Incorporate motion graphics, animation, captions, and branding elements to improve accessibility and engagement.
9. Format and publish content across internal communication platforms (e.g., intranet, email campaigns, newsletters, digital signage, collaboration tools).
10. Maintain consistency in tone, style, and messaging across all outputs.
11. Provide creative input on campaigns and communication strategies.
12. Other duties as assigned.
