Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit
The Brody School of Department at East Carolina University (ECU) is composed of 18 departments which function to: 1) To increase the supply of primary care physicians to serve the state; 2) To improve the health and well-being of the region; and 3) To train physicians who will meet the health care needs of the state.
Brody is a national leader in family medicine, ranking No. 1 in North Carolina and No. 2 nationally in the percentage of graduates who choose careers in family medicine, based on the 2017 American Academy of Family Physicians report on MD-granting medical schools. Brody ranks in the top 10 percent of U.S. medical schools for graduating physicians who practice in the state, practice primary care and practice in rural areas.
Brody graduates currently practice in 83 of North Carolina's 100 counties.
Under the leadership of Dean and Executive Dean, today Brody School of Medicine has a student body of about 470 students and around 450 faculty members and researchers.
Primary Purpose of Position
This position reports to the Director of Physician Compensation Data & Analytics whose team is responsible for reporting relative to ambulatory performance and volume trending information related to Patient Access activities to ECU Health's leadership team and clinical departments supporting business management across the practice. This position uses a solid understanding of access related functions. The analyst will maintain and recommend improvements to standard reports and ensure integrity of the information provided. This position strives continually to improve the level of information available to Clinical Operations Leadership and should use advanced techniques to streamline and automate the reporting process. This position will use Power BI, SQL reporting, MS Excel, MS Teams, MS Outlook and Power Automate.
