Summary: 

The Assistant Producer position sits within our Video Content + Production team, which is part of the larger Milwaukee Bucks Creative Services team and reports to the Managing Producer, Video + Content. This position is responsible for assisting in the creative planning and production of video content for the Milwaukee Bucks and Fiserv Forum as well as additional company entities such as the Milwaukee Bucks Foundation, Wisconsin Herd and Deer District. This position will collaborate primarily with the video team members while also working closely with members of the design, photo, digital/social and marketing teams and other internal departments to create dynamic, on brand and relevant video content throughout the NBA regular season, playoffs and offseason.

Responsibilities: 

  • Capture, produce, and edit high-quality video content across multiple formats, including short-form social, long-form storytelling, in-arena entertainment, marketing campaigns, Community activations, and corporate partnerships in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Collaborate with producers, creatives, and internal stakeholders to develop compelling, original storytelling concepts that align with the Bucks brand, organizational priorities, and audience engagement goals, while supporting coverage of games, live events, community initiatives, and team activations.
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in post-production workflows using Adobe Premiere Pro, with working knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop, and Lightroom; motion graphics and animation skills are a plus.
  • Execute end-to-end video production, including concept development, shooting (studio and field), lighting, audio capture, editing, color correction, sound design, and final delivery optimized for various platforms.
  • Maintain a high visual and technical standard across all deliverables while ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and team creative direction.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment while also taking ownership of projects independently from concept through completion.
  • Assist with additional production-related tasks as needed, including but not limited to: graphic design, basic animation, copywriting, asset management, and equipment organization.


Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in fine arts or industry equivalent in Television/Video Production, Broadcast Journalism, Marketing or Communications preferred.
  • A minimum of 1-3 years related work/production experience.
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment with quick turnaround times
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks with attention to detail
  • Strive to continuously build knowledge and skills
  • Knowledge of the NBA and the Milwaukee Bucks and its entities is a plus!
  • Applicant must be willing to work long, irregular hours (weeknights, weekends, holidays, etc.) and lift up to 30 lbs.
