Always & Furever Marketing, Social Media, and

Events Coordinator

Through Pickle 4 Paws

Always & Furever is hiring a creative, outgoing, animal-loving team member to help grow community

events, memberships, adoption visibility, and fundraising through Pickle 4 Paws.

Pickle 4 Paws is a community-based pickleball court for kids which is donating their court and space to

Always & Furever for fundraising and engagement program operated by Always & Furever. It uses

family-friendly events, memberships, pickleball, animal-centered experiences, and social media

storytelling to bring people into the mission while helping raise support for rescue animals. The

purpose of Pickle 4 Paws is not just to host fun events. It is to create meaningful community

experiences that increase awareness, build donor and member relationships, support adoptions, and

generate funds that help care for the animals at Always & Furever.

This position is for someone who can help turn ideas into organized, welcoming, mission-driven

events while also capturing great content, building relationships, and helping people feel connected to

the rescue.

Position summary

The Marketing, Social Media, and Events Coordinator will help plan, market, and run events for

Always & Furever through Pickle 4 Paws. This person will support birthday parties, adoption events,

member events, public outreach, fundraising events, and special community experiences. The role

combines event planning, marketing, content creation, volunteer communication, guest experience,

and animal-awareness judgment.

This person will also help explain the Pickle 4 Paws mission to the public, promote the $25 per month

membership, and make sure events are organized in a way that supports fundraising, safety, and

animal welfare. All proceeds go towards saving the animals of Always & Furever.

Schedule and pay

• Part-time, 20 to 30 hours per week

• Starting pay: $17 per hour

• Room for growth based on performance and program growth• Flexible schedule required, including some evenings and weekends

Core responsibilities

• Plan and help run birthday parties, private events, adoption events, member events, and

community fundraising events

• Promote Always & Furever and Pickle 4 Paws through social media, event marketing, and public

engagement

• Explain the Pickle 4 Paws program and encourage memberships, event participation, and

community involvement

• Understand and use PodPlay.app software for event and membership-related coordination

• Capture photos and videos at events using your own smartphone

• Be comfortable doing live videos on social media and helping create engaging content before,

during, and after events

• Help connect event guests to the rescue mission, featured animals, memberships, adoptions, and

ways to support Always & Furever

• Make sure waivers, releases, and required forms are signed and collected correctly

• Help coordinate volunteers, supplies, setup, event flow, and breakdown

• Work closely with barn managers and leadership to plan and improve events

• Help coordinate approved outside partners such as yoga instructors, activity leaders, or

community collaborators

• Walk approved animals over for events when directed and help support safe animal movement

• Recognize basic dog and cat behavior and know when an animal is stressed, overstimulated, or

should be removed from an event

• Understand that not every animal should attend every event and that animal welfare always

comes first
