Job description

Lim Laboratory is seeking part-time research technician to start after March 1, 2026. The laboratory investigates neurodegenerative disorders, including glaucoma, using in vivo and ex vivo imaging with multiphoton microscopy.
Department-Specific Responsibilities
  • Assists the Principal Investigator in conducting sponsored research using mouse models.
  • Maintains laboratory mice.
  • Performs small animal surgery, tissue preparation and immunohistochemical staining.
  • Plans animal experiments and reports results.
  • Maintains laboratory supply requisition and management.
  • Trains junior-level staff.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in biology or related field
WORK EXPERIENCE
Required
  • Demonstrated experience in laboratory animals and molecular biology techniques
