Job description

Looking for a compassionate animal lover to join our non-profit rescue family. Fulfillment comes in the love and gratification you will receive from our awesome cats and dogs in need of a 'furever' family.

Under direct supervision of the kennel supervisor, provides care for the dogs and cats that come into All4Paws and maintains the shelter facility.

Work schedule that includes days, weekends and holidays as necessary.

Part time positions available. Starting salary of $12/hr.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide care for dogs, puppies, cats and kittens at the facility.
  • Clean and disinfect animal enclosures and feed bowls; maintain facility standards.
  • Observe animals for signs of illness or injury and reports findings to the appropriate medical staff, veterinarian or vet tech.
  • Assist the adoptions counselor with preforming walks throughs and information about the animals in your care; provide direction for volunteers.
  • Responsible for helping inventory supplies throughout the campus.
  • Need to be comfortable around people and able to assist them if needed.
  • Participate in behavioral training toward adoptability.

Physical Classifications / Essential Job Functions:

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds, animals and supplies.
  • Extensive walking, standing, stooping, bending and carrying.
  • Able to tolerate loud animal noises and objectionable odors.
  • Must enjoy people, animals and working as a team!
