Feeders Pet Supply is currently hiring for a full-time Delivery Driver to join our team in Louisville, KY! Are you dependable, professional, and customer-focused? ABOUT YOUR CAREER

As a Delivery Driver, you will assist in achieving our mission by ensuring customers receive their pet food and supplies accurately, safely, and on time. This individual will complete local residential deliveries while providing excellent customer service and representing Feeders Pet Supply in a professional manner.

This position will be based out of our Baxter Avenue location in Louisville, KY with deliveries extending to surrounding areas/locations. The Delivery Driver will prepare customer orders, load products into the company delivery van, complete local delivery routes, and ensure customers receive a positive experience.

The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and comfortable working independently while maintaining a strong focus on safety and customer service.

Job Responsibilities

  • • Complete local residential deliveries using a company delivery van
  • • Prepare and organize customer orders prior to delivery
  • • Load and unload products safely and accurately
  • • Verify delivery orders for accuracy before leaving the facility
  • • Provide excellent customer service while interacting with customers
  • • Safely handle pet food and supplies, including products weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • • Follow all company safety procedures and delivery guidelines
  • • Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any maintenance concerns
  • • Maintain cleanliness and basic care of delivery vehicle
  • • Communicate delivery issues or customer concerns to leadership
  • • Assist with additional operational responsibilities as needed

Requirements

  • • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Valid chauffeur's license required
  • • Prior delivery, driving, or customer service experience preferred
  • • Ability to safely lift, carry, and move merchandise as needed, including items weighing up to 50 lbs.
