Territory Sales Manager – Aftermarket – Animal Feed

This position offers full benefits, job stability, a good work/life balance, bonus potential and a strong base salary.  It is with a global leader in engineered equipment solutions for material processing, the company has a rich history spanning multiple decades and is known for its innovative and high-performing solutions for industries requiring efficient material handling, preparation, and processing.  This is a REMOTE based position, with the condition that candidates live in WY.  

Please note that existing sales experience, while a "plus", is not necessarily required.  If you have strong animal feed production knowledge and strong communication skills, that background is also in-demand here.

Summary:
 Responsible for working with existing customers providing them with aftermarket products and services while generating capital equipment leads across WY, MT, UT, ID and AZ. 
Responsibilities:
  • Sell aftermarket products and services across animal feed, waste/biomass, and industrial sectors
  • Develop and execute territory sales strategy
  • Travel throughout territory (~50% travel, self-managed schedule) to build and maintain customer relationships
  • Deliver technical presentations to existing and prospective customers
  • Diagnose installed equipment issues and propose solutions in coordination with engineering
  • Provide technical support on equipment use, operation, and maintenance
  • Stay current on products, services, competition, and market conditions
  • Meet individual and team sales targets
  • Attend meetings, training, trade shows, and sales events
  • Maintain CRM records per company expectations

Qualifications:
  • 2 or 4-year degree in business or technical field preferred
  • Animal feed manufacturing knowledge a substantial plus / strongly preferred
  • Prior customer-facing experience is preferred, but not necessarily required. 
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Analytical problem-solving ability
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, Word)
