Job description

Our client is seeking a Formulator to support their business producing animal feed products while partnering with manufacturing operations to deliver consistent, high-quality results. Responsibilities


  • Develop and maintain feed formulations that support production, quality, and customer requirements
  • Collaborate with manufacturing personnel to ensure formulations are successfully implemented in production
  • Monitor formulation performance and recommend adjustments when needed to support product consistency
  • Assist with ingredient evaluations and formulation updates as raw materials or product requirements change
  • Support troubleshooting efforts involving formulation-related production or quality concerns
  • Maintain accurate formulation documentation and technical records
  • Partner with internal teams to support continuous improvement initiatives related to feed formulation
  • Stay current on industry practices and nutritional advancements that support product performance


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Animal Nutrition, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
  • Experience with commercial feed formulation or a strong aptitude for feed formulation principles
  • Understanding of animal nutrition fundamentals and ingredient utilization
  • Ability to analyze technical information and make sound formulation recommendations
