The Veterinary Technician Assistant supports doctors and licensed technicians in delivering high-quality medical care while maintaining hospital cleanliness, efficiency, and patient comfort.
This role is critical to hospital flow, doctor productivity, and patient safety. The Technician Assistant ensures that medical areas remain clean, stocked, organized, and ready to support appointments and procedures throughout the day.

Core Responsibilities
Patient Care Support
  • Assist technicians with patient restraint
  • Monitor recovering surgical patients under supervision
  • Walk hospitalized or boarded patients as directed
  • Maintain clean, dry, and comfortable cages
  • Refresh water and bedding as needed
  • Report any patient concerns immediately to a technician or doctor
Hospital Flow & Efficiency
  • Clean and reset exam rooms between appointments
  • Ensure rooms are stocked and prepared
  • Support treatment area organization
  • Keep treatment tables wiped and ready
  • Assist with moving patients as needed
Laundry & Sanitation
