WHAT YOU WILL DO
Angel's Envy Retail Specialist Program has been a crucial asset to the commercial success of the brand in 20 markets nationwide. The main responsibility of the full-time Retail Specialists is to build the brand's visibility and volume within leading retail (off-premise) accounts. The program will focus on cultivating account relationships, executing promotional tastings, educating both staff and consumers, build brand awareness through merchandising, and collaborating with local BUSA/Distributor partners to drive volume through their dedicated account universe. This role works cross functionally with various parties to ensure the successful sale, volume growth, distribution, brand presence, and positioning of the supplier's portfolio.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide Continuous Support: Schedule and activate monthly KPIs within an assigned off-premise target account list to provide continuous support and enhance sell-in and sell-through of the product.
Full-time Specialists will be salaried employees, salary dependent on market and experience.
• Sampling Coordination: Organize and execute educational sampling activities aimed at promoting recommendations, increasing conversion rates, and leveraging product cases effectively.
• Account Relationship Management: Foster and maintain relationships with staff and decision-makers at selected off-premise accounts to encourage recommendations and sales of Angel's Envy.
• Brand Awareness & Visibility: Elevate awareness of Angel's Envy through proactive education and engagement initiatives within the target market. Additionally, increase brand visibility through execution of strategic merchandising efforts that align with Brand priorities and guidelines.
• Market Insights: Monitor and gather competitive trends and information from various sources including the market and social media. Transform these insights into actionable opportunities to strengthen the brand.
• Reporting: Provide comprehensive recaps in real time and send weekly reports detailing objectives, achievements, and plans for the upcoming week to ensure transparency and accountability.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Regional Manager of Commercial Planning and the local team to identify market opportunities and align strategies with market needs.
• Sales Enhancement: Drive commercial success, specifically focusing on the rate of sale, through strategies such as upselling, securing multiple SKU distribution, and optimizing visibility and displays.
• Budget and Time Management: Ensure the delivery of KPIs on time and within budget constraints. Track time effectively to plan, manage, and report on all activities in the field, ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
• Scheduling: Must have the flexibility to work nights and weekends and occasional Holidays.
o Full-Time Specialists will have a 40hr / week expectation.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE WITHIN THE ROLE:
• Meeting/exceeding* monthly KPI goals.
• Meeting all deadlines required of the position.
• Communicating effectively with the Program Manager, Regional Manager, Local BUSA/Distributor partner, and key accounts.
• Marked improvement for portfolio volume performance within key accounts.
• Leveraging cases, building branded displays, and pitching programming according to brand and program standards.
• Demonstrating creativity with finding new ways to educate and engage with our key stakeholders.
• Exhibiting independence, strong time management, and effective problem-solving skills.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• Requires standing for 3 plus hours, bending, squatting, reaching, climbing, kneeling, and stooping.
• Frequent lifting and moving cases of product and other objects weighing 50 pounds or more.

• Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently, proactively and take initiative.
• Must have an understanding and be passionate about the spirits industry, especially the bourbon category.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and assigned budgets.
• Influential and excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills. You will have opportunities to display excellent verbal communication skills while also delivering impactful presentations in front of groups of people.
• Possesses strong time management skills and adheres to deadlines.
• Previous retail/spirit industry/distributor experience is highly preferred.
