Description
Compensation and sign-on increase for our General anesthesiologist opening! Work with an excellent work-life balance in Newport News, VA, at Riverside Peninsula Surgery Center. Riverside Peninsula Surgery Center is an ambulatory surgery center located on the campus of Riverside Regional Medical Center. This facility is an extension of the medical center and features four operating suites designed to promote comfort, convenience, and efficiency. Applying the latest technology, the surgical team at Riverside Peninsula Surgery Center performs outpatient endoscopic and minimally invasive surgical procedures that result in quicker recovery times for patients.

Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

MD or DO from an accredited institution
Completion of Anesthesiology Residency
Board Eligible or Board Certified
Current medical licensure
