Responsibilities

Neonatal Anesthetist (AA/CRNA)Location: Northside Hospital - Atlanta, GA Employment Type: Full-Time Position Summary Northside Hospital Atlanta is seeking an experienced Neonatal Anesthetist to provide anesthesia care for neonatal patients undergoing surgical and diagnostic procedures. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of neonatal anesthesia experience in a high-acuity NICU or pediatric surgical setting and be committed to delivering safe, evidence-based, patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities * Provide anesthesia care for neonatal patients before, during, and after surgical and diagnostic procedures. * Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and develop individualized anesthesia care plans. * Manage neonatal airways, ventilation, hemodynamic monitoring, and pain management. * Collaborate with neonatologists, pediatric surgeons, NICU staff, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. * Respond to neonatal emergencies and participate in quality improvement initiatives. * Maintain accurate documentation and comply with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications * Graduate of an accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant (AA) or Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) program. * Current Georgia licensure or eligibility for licensure as an AA or CRNA. * Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications (or ability to obtain within the required timeframe). * 3-5+ years of recent neonatal anesthesia experience in a Level III/IV NICU or pediatric surgical environment. * Strong knowledge of neonatal physiology, airway management, and perioperative anesthesia care. * Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
