Job Summary

The Anesthesia Technician I (AT I) performs a variety of activities that support the Anesthesiology Service. The AT I assists anesthesiologists and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) with the technical preparation for inducing anesthesia, intubation, and airway management. The AT I demonstrates personal and professional effectiveness.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Education/Licensure/Specialized Training: a. Education: High School diploma or equivalent required. Completion of an Anesthesia Technology program preferred. b. Licensure/Certification: None 2. Work Experience: One (1) year related experience preferred.

1. Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact) Bilingual Skills Required. No Language(s): Bilingual skills preferred 2. Other Skills: Medical Terms 3. Work Schedule: Weekends, Holidays, Flexible 4. Other Requirements: Computer and/or Key Entry Experience
