Position Overview:

Responsible for the set up and calibration of anesthesia equipment and supplies needed for each operation or procedure. Supports the functionality of the department by distributing supplies and performing equipment maintenance, testing, and setup as needed. Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety to help deliver optimal patient care.

Job Description:

These Principal Accountabilities, Requirements and Qualifications are not exhaustive, but are merely the most descriptive of the current job.   • Maintains all anesthesia equipment including ventilators, intubation scopes, laryngoscopes, and physiologic monitors.

  • Work independently, as well as be part of the team, including accomplishing multiple tasks in an environment with interruptions.

  • Identify, evaluate and resolve standard problems by selecting appropriate solutions from established options.

  • Build collaborate relationships with peers and other healthcare providers to achieve departmental and corporate objectives.

  • Integrates education, technical competence and patient interaction skills to gain confidence and cooperation from the patient, their family/support group, and other healthcare providers.
