Location: Presbyterian Medical Center - Charlotte, NC; Presbyterian is our 661 bed level 2 trauma center centrally located just outside of uptown Charlotte
This role is ideal for an experienced anesthesia tech looking to work in a fast paced environment with a high-performing, collaborative team.

What You'll Do
  • Assists the anesthesia team prior to, during, and after patient procedures in any location anesthesia is provided across Novant Health
  • Proficient in sterilization, maintenance, packing, and resupply of the most complex anesthesia supplies and emergency equipment
  • Has significant patient contact while assisting in procedures and works collaboratively with the anesthesia team, nursing staff, and off-site resources

What We're Looking For
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
  • Experience Required: 1 year of previous experience preferred but not required, preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: RQI Responder - must obtain within 90 days of hire, required.
  • Additional skills required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Understands and practices the importance of proper cleaning and disinfecting of anesthesia equipment; inventory and ordering ability in order to meet supply and demand; some knowledge of anesthesia equipment and medical terminology.
