Advanced Pain and Anesthesia Consultants (APAC) is a Joint Commission-accredited practice specializing in comprehensive pain management. Our multidisciplinary team combines innovative interventional procedures, physical therapy, and psychological support to help patients regain mobility and improve their quality of life. We are committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care in a professional and supportive environment.
What You'll Do
As a Medical Assistant / Front Desk Receptionist, you'll play an important role in delivering an exceptional patient experience by supporting both front office operations and clinical care.
  • Welcome patients by checking them in and out, registering new patients, and collecting co-pays and deposits.
  • Answer phones, schedule appointments, and gather required patient information.
  • Prepare patient paperwork, insurance documentation, and required consent forms.
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records using EMR systems while protecting patient confidentiality.
  • Obtain and document patient medical histories, vital signs, and clinical information.
  • Prepare exam and treatment rooms, clean instruments, stock supplies, and monitor inventory.
  • Assist physicians with procedures, patient care, medication administration (under physician supervision), and patient transfers.
  • Provide compassionate support to patients and their families throughout their visit.
  • Follow HIPAA, OSHA, and facility policies while completing required compliance training.
Qualifications
Required
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least one year of administrative experience.
  • At least one year of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Minimum one year of hands-on experience using an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
Preferred
  • Medical Assistant Certification.
