 This contract position is on-site, providing an exceptional opportunity to contribute to patient care in a collaborative environment.

As a Locum MD, you will be responsible for administering anesthesia and monitoring patients throughout surgical procedures. You will work closely with surgeons and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Your expertise will play a critical role in maintaining high standards of care and safety within our practice.

Responsibilities
  • Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing various surgical procedures
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes in condition
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to develop anesthesia plans
  • Evaluate patients preoperatively to assess their medical history and anesthesia needs
  • Manage anesthesia recovery and ensure patient safety
  • Provide postoperative pain management advice
  • Document anesthesia records and maintain compliance with standards
  • Stay current with advancements in anesthesiology practices
Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited medical school
  • Active medical license to practice anesthesiology in the state of Colorado
  • Associate-level experience in anesthesiology is preferred
  • Strong understanding of anesthesia techniques and protocols

Schedule: 7:00a – 5:30p

Weeknights and 24-hour weekend call

Duties: Provide full-spectrum anesthesiology care across perioperative care, surgical, procedural, and inpatient settings

EMR: CPRS

Must be board-certified or board-eligible

BLS & ACLS certification required

Paid travel & expenses
