The Company: For over 40 years, Physician Specialists in Anesthesia (“PSA”) has primarily provided dedicated and comprehensive anesthesia services at Emory Saint Joseph's Hospital (“ESJH”) in Atlanta, GA. PSA has an outstanding culture and delivers the majority of its care under the anesthesia care team model with an experienced and highly-engaged team of
anesthesiologists, anesthesiologist assistants, certified registered nurse anesthetists, and allied health professionals.
The Position: Due to significant growth and practice expansion, we have immediate opportunities for full-time BC/BE Anesthesiologists. Offering a partnership track and

The Hospital: Founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1880, Emory Saint Joseph’s Hospital is Atlanta's longest-serving hospital. Today, the 410-bed, acute-care facility is recognized as one of the top specialty-referral hospitals in the Southeast. Emory Saint Joseph’s is a leader among Georgia hospitals and is a proud part of the Emory Healthcare system.
Case Mix: Work the full spectrum of our caseload which includes major vascular, orthopedics, spine, neuro, general surgery, surgical oncology, gynecology, ENT, urology, and endoscopy. No obstetrics, pediatrics, or trauma. Heart and Thoracic Cases (not required): 1200 cardiac procedures per year includes: Complex and routine cardiac. Robotic mitral valve surgery (the world’s busiest and most experienced center). Complex aortic reconstruction. Complex valves, CABG (on and off pump), Valve-CABG, Valve repair, LVAD's. Structural heart procedures (MitraClip, TAVR, Watchman, etc.) and full range of electrophysiology procedures (not included in above cardiac case total; 3 rooms daily). ICU Care: PSA provides physician intensivist coverage for the 24-bed ESJH cardiovascular surgery ICU.

Atlanta features award-winning restaurants and chefs, iconic locales that rival any across the country – including the Tony Award-winning Alliance Theatre, the Fox Theater, the CNN Center, and the Western hemisphere's largest indoor aquarium. Known as the “city in a forest”, Atlanta offers many notable parks like Piedmont Park in Midtown and Centennial Olympic Park Downtown. The newly developed Atlanta Beltline is transforming the Atlanta downtown into a “live-work-play” community. It is well underway and will open in phases through the anticipated completion in 2030. Atlanta residents are avid sports fans.
