ASI is seeking a Senior Logistics Analyst to support the COMFRC Production Engine Lead in NAS Patuxent River, MD.

Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive planning, organization, and coordination of multiple functional activities, including engine and aircraft scheduling, financial management, production control, and logistics
  • Monitor production performance across Fleet Readiness Center (FRC) sites by tracking key metrics: Turn-around Times (TAT), and Time to Reliably Replenish (TRR)
  • Use performance data to analyze impacts on cost and schedule
  • Advise Commander Fleet Readiness Center (N42) on performance trends
  • Initiate efforts to standardize processes and procedures across the FRC enterprise
  • Conduct detailed analysis to drive improvements and justify costs
  • Participate in the annual Workload Standards (WLS) review process
  • Assess standards to determine causal factors related to labor hours, schedule, and material costs
  • Ensure all cost and TAT changes are justified and approved
  • Perform trend and variance analysis against readiness goals
  • Identify areas for improvement and recommend strategic reallocation of funding
  • Recommend workload redistribution to meet readiness requirements and align the production pipeline
  • Maintain extensive communication and coordination with stakeholders to align production with operational needs, including ongoing contact with FRC sites
  • Liaise with NAVAIR Program Management (PMA), Industrial Program Coordinators (IPCs), CNAF Class Desk Managers, NAVSUP, and Defense Logistics Agency (DLA)
  • Identify required resources and develop executable workload plans
  • Serve as COMFRC representative in high-level reviews with OPNAV, CNAF and NAVAIR

Required Qualifications:

  • 6-8 years of experience in acquisition related to in-service support of DoD weapons systems and experience in aviation depot, MRO, or manufacturing environments
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
    • Additional 4 years of experience of acquisition or operational logistics management experience may be substituted for degree
  • Experience working with diverse stakeholders, including FRCs, PEOs, PMAs, and NAVSUP/DLA, Fleet
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and present complex data sets
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
