User Interface Developer 
Salary Range: $85,000 to $100,000 per year 
Ops Tech Alliance (OTA) is seeking a User Interface Developer to support the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC) at the Presidio of Monterey, CA. This role designs, develops, and maintains dynamic user interfaces for web applications used to deliver and manage language training.  
This position is contingent upon contract award. 
Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain responsive user interfaces for web applications and internal tools.
• Collaborate with application developers, business analysts, and end users to translate requirements into intuitive interfaces.
• Plan, install, and maintain UI servers and applications, including after-hours work as required.
• Troubleshoot and resolve UI defects, performance issues, and accessibility gaps.
• Apply Section 508/WCAG accessibility standards to all UI deliverables.
• Document UI designs, components, and style guides.
Required Qualifications
• AA/AS in a related discipline from an accredited college or university, OR 3+ years of related experience in lieu of degree.
• Active IAT Level I certification (one of: A+ CE, Network+ CE, SSCP, or CCNA Security) plus applicable CE/OS certification.
• 3+ years of experience in user interface or graphic design.
• Hands-on experience with modern web/UI development tools and techniques, including responsive design frameworks, HTML5, and JavaScript frameworks.
• U.S. Citizenship; ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).
Desired Qualifications
• BA/BS in Computer Science, Web Development, Graphic Design, or related field.
• Experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Experience with UX research and usability testing.
• Familiarity with Section 508/WCAG accessibility standards.
• Prior DoD or Army experience.
