Qualifications

Sr. Android Developer needs 5+ years of experience with Android, Java
and UI design principles, patterns, and best practices- Hands-on
experience using Android SDK and Android Studio.-


Sr. Android Developer requires:

  • Hands-on
    experience with Web Services, SOAP, REST , JQuery and JSON to connect
    mobile apps to back-end services- Hands-on experience with the build
    tool Gradle
  • 8 or more years of experience with Android,
    Java, Java Script and UI design principles, patterns, and best
    practices- Familiar with agile/waterfall development practices-
    Proficient with common Android Framework API's (WebViews,Location,
    Camera, Notifications, Maps and etc)
  • Maven
  • Test Driven Development (TDD)
  • UI
  • OO languages/frameworks is a plus
  • Android Framework API's (WebViews,Location, Camera, Notifications, Maps and etc)
  • Agile/Waterfall

Sr. Android Developer duties:

  • Work closely with development, product management, and QA teams to design and develop Android applications-
  • Develop
    and perform unit testing of software; prototype solutions, as needed-
    Document work to allow for seamless hand-off to other teams-
  • Build scalable and fault-tolerant solutions- Integrate with overlapping cross-functional teams
