Job description

Position Summary
Snap Kitchen seeks passionate store team members dedicated to health and helping others through proper nutrition. As a Shift Supervisor, you'll report directly to the store's General Manager, acting as a leader and taking on elevated responsibilities to drive store success. You'll engage with customers, provide outstanding service, educate guests on our offerings, answer questions, inquire about their health goals, and promote top-selling items.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Mentorship:

    • Act as a mentor and leader for less experienced team members, guiding their development and providing support.   

    • Assume leadership responsibilities in the General Manager's absence, ensuring smooth store operations and efficient task delegation.   

  • Customer Experience:

    • Deliver excellent customer service and uphold Snap Kitchen's mission of providing healthy, convenient food options.   

    • Maintain a welcoming and professional demeanor, addressing customer inquiries, resolving concerns, and processing refunds/exchanges as needed.   

  • Operational Excellence:

    • Ensure overall store hygiene and cleanliness, including wiping down counters and tables, sweeping, and maintaining a tidy condiment station.   

    • Manage inventory effectively, keeping shelves stocked, monitoring cooler temperatures, and replenishing pantry items.   

    • Utilize Snap Kitchen's in-store technology for tasks such as checking emails, printing and completing manifests, and opening/closing procedures.   

  • Sales & Marketing:

    • Promote new and popular menu items, Snap Kitchen events, and the in-store loyalty program to drive customer engagement and sales growth.   

    • Actively contribute to membership sign-ups, upselling, and community marketing initiatives to expand Snap Kitchen's reach and customer base.   

  • 1-5 years of previous experience as a store team member in a retail, food, or nutrition environment is preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience in team management and leadership.

  • Excellent professional communication skills.

  • A high school diploma; some college preferred.

  • A genuine commitment to the success of Snap Kitchen and its mission.

  • A passion for health and nutritious food.

  • Strong work ethic, adaptability, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
