Description:

TRISTAR is seeking a highly motivated Software Developer I to support the Maneuver, Surveillance and Engagement Division at Crane NSWC. This project is focused on providing real-time geospatial analysis to enhance the unmanned platforms capabilities for military logistics. This software developer position will also be responsible for building "Map-Centric" User Interfaces and/or Geospatial Information Systems, while ensuring that deployment processes align with all software requirements and adhere to modern industryโ€™s best practices.


Required Skills

  • Mobile Software Development experience
  • Android Team Awareness Kit Development experience
  • Web application experience

Required Languages

  • .NET (WPF, WinForms, Xamarin Android)
  • C++ (Qt, QtQuick, MFC, X11, Win32, etc.)
  • Java (Swing, SWT, Android)
  • Python (Scripting only)
Requirements:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an active "Secret" security clearance
  • This is a remote position, but travel to Crane, Indiana is required at least twice a year and travel to Gothenburg, Sweden is required at least once a year.
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Programming, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional work experience)
  • Must already have or be able to obtain a CompTIA Security Plus certification prior to the start date
